Police seek assistance in locating a stolen specialized trike

EPS Northwest Division officers are investigating the theft of a yellow Terra Trike belonging to a young boy with cerebral palsy, and are asking for the public’s help in locating the stolen property.

The Terra Trike, went missing sometime between 7 p.m. on May 23, 2015 and 4 p.m. on May 24, 2015 in a neighbourhood off 91 Street and 166 Avenue.

“The Trike was a project that The Bear radio station had constructed for the young man in 2004 and includes a gearing system from the United Kingdom. The Trike is worth over $5,000 and is the only means of mobility for the youth outside of his residence,” said Const. Paul Middleton.
