Police respond to collision, find bullet holes in vehicle

The Edmonton Police Service is investigating a gun complaint after responding to a call for service regarding a collision in northeast yesterday.

On Thursday, May 21, 2015 police responded to a two vehicle collision in the area of 97 Street and Griesbach Road just before 9 p.m. Upon arrival to the collision, police observed a 2003 white Cadillac CTS with bullet holes.

It was reported that the Cadillac was driving southbound on 97 Street towards Griesbach Road when a SUV allegedly started shooting at the vehicle.  The Cadillac allegedly then collided with a Honda Pilot. Occupants of both vehicles involved in the collision received non-life threatening injuries.

Earlier in the evening, Northwest Division patrol officers responded to a hit and run collision involving a SUV. It was reported the occupants of the SUV also presented a weapon to another vehicle. Police believe this may be the same vehicle involved.

Edmonton Police continue to investigate.
