On Friday, May 1, 2015, at approximately 10 p.m., a 59-year-old male was assaulted in the area of 111B Street and 27 Avenue. The male suffered life threatening injuries as a result of the attack and remains in hospital in critical condition.
It was reported to police that two complainants left a nearby address that evening, when a third colleague was found in an adjoining parking lot lying on the ground suffering from multiple injuries.
Police are looking for two persons of interest who were seen approaching drivers in their vehicles on 27 Avenue. It is believed the suspects entered into conversation with occupants of one of the vehicles, which stopped nearby.
They suspects are described as being:
- Male, Caucasian or Metis, 25-30 years of age, 6’2 – 6’3, 230-250 pounds, muscular build, curly black or dark shoulder-length hair, dark hoody, dark track pants.
- Male, Caucasian, 25-30 years of age, 5’8, 150 pounds, skinny build, wearing a hat tilted to the side.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the assault and/or the occupants of the vehicle that stopped and engaged these two males in conversation.
