Police seek witnesses to alleged aggravated assault

The Edmonton Police Service is asking for witnesses to come forward with information about an alleged aggravated assault, after a man was found suffering from stab wounds in northeast Edmonton on Tuesday, Apr. 12, 2016.

Officers from Northeast Division were called to the area of 31 Street and 113 Avenue at approximately 8:10 a.m. yesterday morning to assist Emergency Medical Services. It was reported a male in his 40s was found unconscious in a parking lot with several stab wounds. He was treated and transported to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

No arrests have been made, and the incident is still under investigation.
