Man charged in homicide of Jeremy Nattress

The Edmonton Police Service Homicide Section has laid a second-degree murder charge in relation to the stabbing death of Jeremy Randall Nattress last month.

On Saturday, Mar. 26, 2016, at approximately 9 a.m., police responded to the report of a deceased male in a suite in the area of 34 Street and 118 Avenue. When officers arrived, they found the body of 36-year-old Nattress, who died as a result of being stabbed.

Zafar Nigmatov, 25, is charged with second-degree murder and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Detectives are not looking for any additional suspects at this time.
