Police seek witnesses in southeast neighborhood; bullet casings found in suite

Southeast Division officers are seeking witnesses to any suspicious activity they may have seen, in the area of 38 Avenue and Millwoods Road, early yesterday morning.

At approximately 9:40 a.m., on Friday, April 8, 2016, patrol officers were called to the report of suspicious circumstances in a southeast neighborhood, after a passerby noticed a shattered door.

When officers arrived, they found what appeared to be a shot-out patio door and a number of dispensed rounds of ammunition present in the suite. No one was present upon police arrival.

Investigators are hoping to speak with any potential witnesses who may have been in the area around 9 a.m. yesterday morning.

Police continue to investigate.
