Police seek public's assistance locating missing man

The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 19-year-old male.

Michael Thomas Chase is a white male, 5’11" and weighs 140 lbs. He has blue eyes and brown hair a couple inches below his ears. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured toque, black cargo pants made of a heavier "snow pant" like material and black lace up winter boots. However, he was in possession of numerous jackets that he might be wearing: a "tunic style" jacket with a hood composed of black faux sheep skin material with toggle fasteners and a grey wool interior around the cuffs; a chocolate brown jacket, winter/ski style with a light blue hexagonal pattern; and a solid winter black winter jacket.

Chase was last seen on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 and hasn’t been heard from since. He was reported missing by his family on Feb. 17, 2019.

He was possibly sighted in Jasper on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 and is believed to be possibly making his way to Vancouver.

Chase’s disappearance is out of the ordinary and he is in need of medications. Investigators don’t believe there is any foul play but are concerned for his wellbeing.
