Police seek public's assistance locating assault suspect

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance locating a male suspect believed to be connected to a shooting that took place earlier today.

On the morning of Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, Downtown Division officers responded to the report of an assault with a weapon at a multi-unit residence in the area of 101 Avenue and 95 Street. Upon arrival officers located a female suffering from a gunshot wound.

 

EMS responded, treated and transported the 22-year-old female to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she remains.

 

Investigators have identified Johnathan Gabriel Graham, 26, also known as "Gabe", as the alleged suspect in the shooting and warrants are pending for his arrest. Graham is believed to be armed and dangerous and detectives are releasing his photo in an attempt to locate him.

 

Graham is described as 5’11” tall and weighs approximately 160 lbs. He has blonde hair and green eyes.

Officers believe that Graham and the female are known to one another.
