Autopsy completed on man found by transit station

Edmonton’s Medical Examiner completed the autopsy on a man who died in hospital this weekend, after he was located in critical condition in northeast Edmonton.

On Sunday, Mar. 27, 2016, at around 2:23 a.m., police were called to the area of 129 Avenue and 58 Street, near the Belvedere LRT Station parking lot, where a man was found with signs of trauma. The man was treated and transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Bruce Peter Macdonald, 50, died from being stabbed and his death has been ruled a homicide.

Homicide Section is looking for two female suspects and continue to investigate.
