Autopsy complete in death outside nightclub; police seek suspect wanted on Canada-wide warrant

An autopsy completed by the Medical Examiner’s office yesterday (Mar. 30, 2016) confirms that the death of Amin Mohammed Abdullahi, 30, was homicide.

In the early hours of Sunday, Mar. 27, 2016, police were called to the area of 81 Avenue and 105 Street to the report of shots fired.

When police arrived, they found Abdullahi and another man who appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds. Both men were treated and transported to hospital by EMS, where Abdullahi succumbed to his injuries. The other man remains in hospital, in serious but non-life-threatening condition.

The Medical Examiner has confirmed that Abdullahi died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police issued a Canada-wide warrant yesterday to locate Arman Dhillon, 21, who was allegedly involved in this incident.

Dhillon is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
