Additional charges laid against priest in connection with alleged historic sexual assaults

The Edmonton Police Service has laid additional charges against an Anglican priest in connection to allegations of historical sexual assaults.

Over the past month, four additional male complainants came forward to report allegations of sexual assault that allegedly occurred at the Edmonton Youth Development Centre during the 1980s, where the accused was employed at the time.

Edmonton Police Service detectives from the Sexual Assault Section have laid additional new charges.

Gordon William Dominey, 63, is now facing a total of 18 sexual assault charges and a total of 9 gross indecency charges.

 Dominey’s next court appearance is Thursday, March 10, 2016.
