On Sept. 16, 2014, the female complainant reported to police that she was threatened at knife point and sexually assaulted after a male convinced her to get in his vehicle in the area of 118 Avenue at approximately 11 p.m. She noticed the vehicle circling the block a number of times before she was approached and repeatedly offered a ride.
Miron Pekar, 53, has been charged with sexual assault with a weapon, sexual interference, and uttering threats.
The EPS is releasing a photo of the accused because it believes there may be witnesses, additional complainants or other individuals who Miron Pekar has approached, specifically young women.
