Assist to locate: Johnathon Crane wanted for assault causing body harm 

The Edmonton Police Service has issued warrants for the arrest of Johnathon Crane, 21, in connection to a violent incident that occurred at a west Edmonton residence on Oct. 20, 2020.

It was reported to police that the accused allegedly struck a 21-year-old female complainant in the head with a broom, then proceeded to punch her multiple times before fleeing the scene Tuesday evening. Crane is wanted on warrants for assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, extortion and for breach of conditions (x2).

Crane was last seen near 96 Avenue and 174 Street Wednesday morning. At that time, he was wearing white adidas sandals, a red jacket and was carrying a beige gym bag with black stripes. He is described as an indigenous male, brown hair, brown eyes. He is 5’11”, 260 pounds. Crane has a history of domestic violence and is known to carry weapons.

He is known to frequent the downtown area near 106 Avenue and 96 Street, as well as the Mill Woods area near 82 Street and Mill Woods Road. He is also known to frequent the Maskwascis area.
