Police request public’s assistance locating missing woman

The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the public’s help locating a 42-year-old Edmonton woman who has been missing since Wednesday, Apr. 4, 2018.

Kathleen Gratrix, 42, was last seen in the Kenilworth area. Police believe she may be in the rural area south of Calmar, and are conducting searches in the vicinity.

She is described as a Caucasian female with brown eyes and blonde hair. She is 5’2” tall and weighs approximately 115 lbs. She may be wearing a grey and black Columbia ski jacket.

Gratrix’s vehicle, a white 1999 Pontiac Sunfire, is also missing. It has a damaged rear spoiler, a dent on the driver’s side door, and bears Alberta license plate BLM 9372.

Gratrix’s disappearance is considered to be out of character, and as a result, there are concerns for her well being. There are no indications to suggest foul play at this time.

Anyone with information regarding Gratrix’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or the Edmonton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit your tip online at
