EPS investigating single-vehicle motorcycle collision on the Henday

The Edmonton Police Service is investigating a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that occurred Sunday evening on the Anthony Henday near the southbound Terwillegar exit ramp.

Southwest Division patrol members responded to the collision call at approximately 9:45 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017.

 

Upon arrival, EPS members found a male motorcyclist near the roadway in critical condition.

 

Paramedics treated and transported the male to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

 

Major Collision Investigations Unit has been called out and has since taken over the investigation. The investigation is still in the preliminary stages, and no further details about the collision are available at this time.

 

Northbound traffic travelling on the Anthony Henday is being diverted at the Terwillegar exit ramp, while traffic travelling southbound on the Anthony Henday is being diverted off at the 184 Street exit ramp near Cameron Heights until further notice.
