Man’s death considered to be non-criminal

Autopsy results released by the Edmonton Medical Examiner’s Office confirm that the death of male discovered in a home near 65 Street and 137 Avenue last Friday, Sept. 16th, 2016, to be non-criminal at this time.

The final cause of death is awaiting toxicology results requested by the Medical Examiner.  

The Edmonton Police Service has concluded its investigation into this matter, and no charges are being considered.

Background:
Police were called to a residence in northeast Edmonton in the area of 65 Street and 137 Avenue at approximately 6:15 a.m. last Friday. Inside, officers located a deceased man with signs of trauma.
