Police seek public's assistance locating missing 10-year-old

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 10-year-old female.

Liela Veniza, 10, was last seen by family at her residence at approximately 12:30 p.m. this afternoon, Monday, July 27, 2020, in the area of 122 Avenue & 54 Street.

Veniza is described as a white female who is 4’0” tall and weighs approximately 65 lbs. She has light brown hair and brown eyes. Veniza was last seen wearing a blue shirt and black leggings that say “DANCE” down the side in bright colourful letters. She may also be carrying a dark purple children’s backpack and riding a blue “Frozen” themed children’s bicycle.

Veniza has medical conditions that require regular medication and because she is a youth, there are concerns for her well-being. There are no indications to suggest foul play at this time.
