EPS officer and three Community Peace Officers charged with assault

An EPS officer and three Community Peace Officers (CPO) were charged on July 20-22, 2020, in relation to a May 2018 incident.

Const. Darren Cave, an 18-year member with the EPS, as well as CPO Matthew Cromar and former CPOs David Marshall and Ryan Boyden are each charged with one count of assault pursuant to Sec. 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
