Police searching for suspect in connection with armed robbery and carjacking

The Edmonton Police Service is looking for the public’s assistance in locating a 2013 black Ford 150 Truck with the licence plate #BKP 8292, which was stolen during a carjacking earlier this morning.

Southeast Division members responded to a medical clinic parking lot near 10 Avenue and 91 Street at approximately 10:30 a.m. today, Monday, Feb. 13, 2016.

It was reported to police that a Caucasian male suspect stole the truck, after approaching and threatening the female owner of the vehicle.

The male suspect is armed and dangerous, and as such, the public are advised to not engage the suspect should they come into contact with him.
