Police seek public’s assistance in locating three-year-old boy

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a three-year-old boy who was last seen in northeast Edmonton early this morning.

Three-year-old Taitus Minde-Buffalo was last seen in the area of Victoria Trail and Hooke Road at approximately 1:30 a.m. today (Friday, Oct. 30, 2015).   

It is alleged Taitus Minde-Buffalo was in the care of a family member early this morning. The family member suffered a medical episode and was treated and transported to hospital by EMS. Police believe a bystander took the 3-year-old boy into her care. Officers are searching for this individual and the child.

Taitus Minde-Buffalo is described as a three-year-old Aboriginal male with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue hat, Nike sweater, blue jacket and grey pants. He is 3’6” tall and approximately 50 lbs.

There are concerns for the child’s well-being due to his age. Police do not suspect foul play.
