Fox Drive & Belgravia Road closed due to injury collision

On Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 around 4:20 p.m., the Edmonton Police Service responded to an injury collision at Fox Drive and Belgravia Road.

A pickup truck traveling northwest on Belgravia Road from Fox Drive when it allegedly lost control and crossed over the centre concrete median and struck a car that was operated by a 41-year-old female who traveling southeast. The car rotated struck a SUV in the next lane that was operated by a 37-year-old male driver. 

The 32-year-old male driver of the truck was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  

The female driver of the car was treated and transported to hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries. A female passenger that was in the car was also transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and since been released. 

Police believe‎ speed may be factor in the collision. 

The Investigation is on-going and no charges have been laid at this time.
