On Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, at approximately 11:35 p.m., Southeast Division patrol members were dispatched to an area near 89 Street and 83 Avenue concerning a vandalism spree. Patrol members interviewed multiple complainants who reported damage to 17 vehicles including slashed tires, smashed windshields.

Canine members were also dispatched to the area, though the Police Service Dogs (PSD) were unable to establish a track.

At approximately 1 a.m. this morning, Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, Southeast Division patrol members were again dispatched to the neighbourhood of Bonnie Doon, in response to a report of male suspect waving a knife in the air outside of a Bonnie Doon establishment.
