Police request public’s assistance in locating missing 10-year-old girl

The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 10-year-old Jathiya Okyere.

 

Missing Child: Jathiya Okyere, 10

 

Okyere was last seen in the area of 136 Avenue and 38 Street on August 14, at around 9 a.m. She was believed to be riding a pink bicycle with a Canada flag and princess stickers on it, and may have been travelling toward the Clareview Recreation Centre or the Clareview Wal-Mart.

 

Okyere is described as a black female, 5’4” tall with brown eyes and black hair. She wears glasses with black frames.

 

Okyere’s disappearance is considered to be out of character, and police are concerned about her welfare. Police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 immediately.
