It appears at least one thief is embracing the holiday spirit in a very untraditional way – by targeting churches in several early-morning break and enters. Southwest and West division officers are investigating seven alleged church break-and-enters that occurred between Nov. 4th and Dec. 8th. In most of the incidents, the suspect(s) gained entrance to the church and offices, by prying open exterior and interior doors.
The suspect(s) stole laptops, iPads, cash and a guitar, in one instance.
