On Sunday, May 24, 2020, at approximately 8 p.m., Southeast Division patrol members responded to a call at a motel near 38 Avenue and Gateway Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased female, since identified as Lisa Arsenault, inside one of the motel suites.
Further to surveillance images released in June, investigators are releasing a composite sketch and a video clip of a male who was seen walking outside of the motel where Arsenault was murdered.

Detectives are also releasing images of a vehicle, described as a silver Dodge Magnum, that the male may have been driving at the time.

Background:
On Friday, May 29, 2020, the Edmonton Medical Examiner completed an autopsy and confirmed the deceased woman was 48-year-old Lisa Arsenault. Autopsy results are still pending regarding the cause of Lisa Arsenault’s death, though the manner of death has been confirmed as homicide.
On June 11, 2020, the Edmonton Police Service released surveillance images of a person of interest who was seen walking outside of the motel where Arsenault was murdered.
