It has been determined that Justin Wade Highet, 34, died from gunshot wounds, and the manner of death is homicide.
Today, Oct. 15, 2020, a warrant for second degree murder was issued for the arrest of Aaron Myles Atchooay, 31, in connection to the death.
Atchooay is presumed to be in the Edmonton area, and police are seeking public assistance in locating him. He is believed to be armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.

Background
At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, Northeast Division patrol members located a deceased male alone inside a residence in the area of 172 Avenue and 47 Street. The death was determined to be suspicious, and homicide investigators took over the investigation.
