Homicide investigators seek public’s assistance to identify person of interest in connection to Lisa Arsenault murder

Edmonton Police Service Homicide investigators are releasing surveillance images regarding a person of interest in connection to the May 24th murder of Lisa Arsenault.

Southeast Division patrol members responded to a call at a motel near 38 Avenue and Gateway Boulevard, at approximately 8 p.m., Sunday, May 24, 2020. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased female, since identified as Lisa Arsenault, inside one of the motel suites.

Investigators are now releasing surveillance images (see below) of a person of interest who was seen walking outside of this motel, where Arsenault was murdered that Sunday evening.

Anyone who can identify the male seen in these surveillance images and/or who may have information about this homicide is urged to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Background:
The Edmonton Medical Examiner recently completed an autopsy and confirmed the deceased woman was 48-year-old Lisa Arsenault. Autopsy results are still pending regarding the cause of Lisa Arsenault’s death, though the manner of death has been confirmed as homicide.
