On Saturday, May 9, 2020, at approximately 10:45 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a suite in the area of 107 Avenue and 116 Street, where Mohamed Amin Hassan Jama, 34, was located deceased.
An autopsy was performed on Jama yesterday, Tuesday, May 12, 2020, and while injuries are suspicious in nature, further medical testing is required. Homicide Section continues to treat the death as suspicious.

The EPS and the victim’s family are releasing a photo of Jama to encourage anyone with information about his death to come forward.
Investigators continue to ask anyone who may have spoken to Jama in the days leading up to his death, or has information in relation to his death, to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
