Second suspect arrested and charged in homicide of Sabrina Papin

A man wanted on Alberta-wide warrant in connection to the murder of Sabrina Papin was arrested in Siksika First Nation earlier this week; he faces eight charges, including second degree murder.

Officers from the RCMP Gleichen Detachment arrested Brian Joseph Boysis, 34, on Monday, May 16, 2016 in Siksika First Nation. EPS Homicide Section detectives have charged the man with second degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, use of a firearm while committing an offence, unauthorized possession of a firearm, robbery with a prohibited/restricted firearm and possession firearm while prohibited (x2).

Sabrina Papin, 27, died on May 3, 2016 after arriving at an Edmonton hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police arrested and charged Chad Neville Boysis, 29, on May 6, 2016 in connection to the homicide. An Alberta-wide warrant was issued for Brian Joseph Boysis.
