Police request public's assistance in locating missing 2-year-old boy

The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 2-year-old Jackson Mercredi.
It was reported that on the morning of October 12, 2018, Patrick Nadli, 42, who is known to Mercredi, left a residence in West Edmonton with Mercredi. They were last seen together at the MacEwan LRT station yesterday, October 12, at around 9 p.m.

Mercredi is described as a 2-year-old Indigenous male. He was last seen wearing a two-tone black and gray winter jacket, dark pants and dark gray or black sneakers with white soles.

Nadli is described as a 42-year-old male of average build. He was last seen wearing a dark gray jacket, black backpack, dark blue jeans, black sneakers with white soles and bright orange work gloves.

As it is out of character for Nadli to have Mercredi with him for this length of time, police are concerned for the child’s safety. Police are asking anyone with information on Nadli or Mercredi’s whereabouts to call the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 immediately.
