EPS investigating two shooting incidents in Downtown Division

The Edmonton Police Service is investigating two shooting incidents that occurred earlier tonight (Monday, July 10, 2017) in Downtown Division.

Just after 6:30 p.m., police responded to a call for service in the area of 104 Street and 107 Avenue. It was reported that a female was shot and went to a convenience store to get help. She was treated and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

 

EPS officers responded to a weapons complaint just before 8 p.m. in an alley around 108 Avenue and 112 Street. Witnesses report a male was riding a bicycle when he was allegedly shot. He was treated and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

 

Police are working to determine if the two shootings are related.
