Police investigating suspicious death of infant in northeast

The Edmonton Police Service is investigating the suspicious death of an infant male child that occurred Sunday, May 28, 2017, in northeast Edmonton

Northeast Division patrol members responded to a residential address near 142 Avenue and 77 Street, at approximately 7 a.m., at the request of EMS.

Upon arrival, officers learned that a sixth-month-old male child was deceased at that address. The Medical Examiner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy for Monday morning.
