It was reported that a VW Jetta was traveling westbound on 118 Avenue when it allegedly struck a pedestrian between 88 Street and 89 Street around 3:15 a.m. The pedestrian was not at a marked crosswalk. EMS responded, treated and transported the 23-year-old male pedestrian to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The 34-year-old male driver did not report any injuries.
No charges have been laid on the driver. The EPS Major Collision Investigation Unit continues to investigate.
