Police seek public’s assistance in locating missing 21-year-old male

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Gamteysa Muhamed, who has been missing for close to a week now.

Muhamed, 21, was last seen on the afternoon of Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014. Police believe Muhamed left his home to meet with family and friends that afternoon, before disappearing sometime later that day.



Muhamed’s family say their son’s disappearance for this length of time is out of character and they’re concerned about his well-being. The 21 year old is described as having a medium brown complexion and is six feet tall, 185 pounds in weight with short, brown hair and a wave. He was wearing a red sweatshirt and jeans at the time of his disappearance
