Police seek public's assistance locating missing man

The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 53-year-old man.

Kevin Stirling Van Buskirk, 53, was last seen by his employer on Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 at approximately 12 p.m. and was driving a white 2002 regular cab Dodge Ram truck with a missing tailgate (Alberta license plate # EXC 946). Van Buskirk was reported missing by his employer on Sunday, Dec. 23 when they were unable to reach him.

 

Investigators believe Van Buskirk may have been in the area of 180 Street and Stony Plain Road on Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.  He is thought to reside in the Rosthenal or Secord areas of Edmonton and may frequent locations in these neighbourhoods.

 

Van Buskirk is described as a white male, 6’3” tall with a thin build. He has blue eyes, no hair and was last seen wearing winter clothing.

Van Buskirk requires medication and his disappearance is considered to be out of character, as a result, there are concerns for his well-being. There are no indications to suggest foul play.
