Traffic Section investigating pedestrian fatality

EPS Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) officers are investigating a pedestrian collision that has left a 4-year-old child dead.

At approximately 8:15 p.m. today (June 23, 2017) it was reported that a vehicle travelling on 44A Avenue (in the area of 35 Street) and a 4-year old boy collided in a roadway.

 

EMS responded and treated the child, but he was pronounced deceased in hospital. There are no charges pending at this time.

 

Traffic Section officers continue to investigate.
