Police investigating suspicious death in northeast Edmonton

Homicide Section was called to the scene of a suspicious death, after a middle-aged man was found in critical condition early this morning.

On Sunday, Mar. 27, 2016, at around 2:23 a.m., police were called to the area of 129 Avenue and 58 Street, near the Belvedere LRT Station parking lot, where a man was found with signs of trauma.

Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time, but hope to speak with any witnesses who may have been in the area in the early morning hours.

An autopsy has yet to be scheduled.
