Charges laid in murder of Andrea Berg

EPS Homicide Detectives have laid charges against two people in connection to the murder of Andrea Marie Berg, which was reported to police on June 16, 2015. Berg’s body was discovered inside a shopping cart in the alley in the area of 124 Street and north of 113 Avenue.

Homicide Detectives have arrested and charged:

Lana Jane Pelletier, 36, with 2^nd degree murder and John Charles Kisil, 50, with accessory after the fact to murder.

“The investigation is still ongoing and we continue to ask anyone who has information about the murder or what led up to it, to come forward to police,” says Staff Sgt. Shawna Grimes of Homicide Section.
